How do i buy Free Ebooks from Barnes and Noble without a credit card?
I bought a Barnes and Noble $25 gift card, i do not own a nook, or any other ereader. I also don’t own a credit card. So, i redeemed the money from the gift card to my account on Barnes and Noble. However, even trying to buy a Free Ebook to put on my Laptop or Ipod, it still asks for a credit card number. First of all, why would B&N do that? If we have the money, or giftcards, we shouldn’t need to require a credit card number! So is there a way to get around this? I already redeemed my gift card into my account so i can’t make a new one…… Help??
i dont have a debit card. i am still being raised by my parents….
Hi, Rebecca, I assume that B&N requires to have a credit card on file to confirm your identity. There’s a lot of scam going around and people forge gift cards left and right.
